Why an SD Card and Reader?
Given the large file sizes of the FREE DeLorme Aerial Data Packets (ADPs),
DeLorme strongly suggests purchasing an SD card with external SD card reader
if you plan to use imagery on the PN-20, to maximize the speed of data transferal.
How To...
To make this easier, we offer a 1-GB SD card with a USB 2.0 SD card reader,
which can be used as a high-speed drive when downloading large ADP files from
the included Topo USA 6.0 software for use with the PN-20. Quickly copy files
to the SD card in the reader and then insert the SD card into the PN-20 slot
within the battery compartment. Now you’re all set to begin using imagery and maps for your favorite locations.
